Calculating the Line Profiles

There are several parts to this problem. Since the cloud is a 3-D object as viewed from outside it is necessary to describe the exact position from which it is being viewed (ie. the output line profile will depend on the viewing position). With the position specified the internal geometry for the line of sight that passes through the cloud centre is calculated. Using this the correct velocity window is selected and then within this window the line profile is calculated. These steps will be described in turn.
